Prop. Designer is a program I wrote to investigate propeller design based on combined blade and momentum theory. It allows the design and analysis of propellers both on and off the design points.

The difference between a propeller and a wind turbine (windmill)

It is still in version 0.9 but generally useable.

Download Prop. Designer help file (449K) to see if it what you want without having to download the whole program. (Mozilla Firefox users, right click on link and select “Save Link As...” to download file)

Download Prop. Designer To install, run Prop Install.exe and follow the on-screen instructions.

If you do download Prop. Designer, please let me know.

Runs under Windows 98, XP (includes database and data files) (11.5 Meg includes VB 6 runtime and COM controls) . It should run under Windows Vista but I have not tried it. (Still running Windows XP)
